For the first in our new recipe series we have something simple, really tasty and just plain good for you. We started with some fresh fruit we had around the house. So here we used kiwis, clementines and green apples.

The next step was to chop some fresh herbs into the mix. For this we used cilantro, basil  and mint. I would say about 2 parts mint to 1 part each cilantro and basil. (total amount of herbs depends on you)

Finally in a glass we mixed up juice from 1 blood orange we grated a bit of fresh ginger and finally topped ot off with some of our light spring honey (be as generous as you like) and give it a good mix and pour over the top of the salad and herb mix.

Just look at the color of that juice down there. It was so good we just wanted to give you all the opportunity to try it for yourselves. We have also used the “juice” as glaze on baked salmon (just drop the amount of juice and add more honey and touch of soy sauce)
